Easy and quick meat recipes to enjoy summer

Summer tastes better with local products

With the arrival of summer, our habits change. We look for lighter meals, spend less time cooking and enjoy long outdoor gatherings around the table. High temperatures encourage quick recipes without giving up flavour or ingredient quality.

We all know that summer has its own rhythm: dinners on the terrace, family meals and gatherings with friends that last until late at night. In all these moments, the quality of the product makes the difference. That is why at Ramaders Agrupats we promote summer recipes that combine local meats with seasonal products such as tomatoes, peppers and spring onions. The result is balanced, fresh and colourful dishes, just like summer itself.

We suggest two quick and delicious options to enjoy quality meat without spending hours in the kitchen.

Mallorcan Beef Tacos with Yogurt and Herb Sauce

A fresh and quick recipe that combines the juiciness of beef with a light and aromatic sauce.

Ingredients

  • Mallorcan beef strips
  • Wheat tortillas
  • Natural yogurt
  • Mint and spearmint
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Lemon

Method

  1. Mix the yogurt with the mint, chopped spearmint, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Keep it in the refrigerator while preparing the remaining ingredients.
  2. Heat a griddle or frying pan with a little oil over high heat. Cook the beef strips for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned on the outside and juicy on the inside.
  3. Warm the tortillas lightly for a few seconds on each side.
  4. Assemble the tacos with a base of lettuce, freshly cooked beef, diced tomato and a generous amount of yogurt and herb sauce.
  5. Serve immediately while the meat is hot and the sauce is cold.

Warm Free-Range Chicken and Summer Fruit Salad

Salads can also become a complete meal.

Ingredients

  • Free-range chicken breast
  • Peach or apricot
  • Mixed green leaves
  • Toasted almonds
  • Olive oil
  • Honey

Method

  1. Season the free-range chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Cook them on a griddle with a little oil for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and fully cooked inside.
  2. Let the chicken rest for 2-3 minutes and slice it into strips or fillets.
  3. Arrange the mixed leaves on a serving dish and add the peach or apricot wedges.
  4. Place the warm chicken on top and sprinkle with toasted almonds.
  5. Prepare a quick vinaigrette by mixing olive oil, honey and a pinch of salt. Dress the salad just before serving so the leaves remain crisp.
