It supports several versions that allow us to take advantage of ingredients that we have on hand and reduce food waste. The pear can be exchanged for an apple, but you have to keep the following spectacular Mahonés cheese with body and flavour.

Sobrassada 75 g
Honey
Mahon cheese 100 g
ground black pepper
20g butter

Gratin toasts with sobrassada, pear and Mahon cheese
Combine honey and sobrasada until you have your desired texture. Peel the pears, cut them in half lengthwise and remove the seeds. Laminate and poach in a pan with the butter over medium heat. Flip so that they brown on both sides.
We assemble the toasts spreading a layer of sobrasada and placing, on it, slices of pear. We cover with mahonés cheese. Bake au gratin in the oven for two or three minutes or until the surface is golden. Sprinkle with a pinch of black pepper and serve immediately.
