1. Sobrassada tartlets with pine nuts and honey (8 pieces)
A great option if you have guests and little time to prepare the meal!

Ingredients:

  • 40 g pine nuts
  • 100 g sobrasada
  • Half a spoonful of honey
  • 5 ml olive oil
  • 8 small tartlet bases

Preparation:

Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the pine nuts and toast them over low heat.
Add the sobrasada and stir for one minute. Then add the honey.
Mix until the honey is completely integrated.
Remove from the heat and fill the tartlets.

2. Canapés of mushrooms with Mallorcan sobrasada (2 people)
Ideal for whetting the appetite before lunch or dinner.

Ingredients:

  • Mallorcan Sobrasada
  • Loaf of bread
  • Salt
  • Chopped fresh parsley
  • 300 g of mushrooms
  • Olive oil

Preparation:

Clean the mushrooms and chop them.
Heat oil in a frying pan and sauté over a low heat.
Crumble the sobrassada and add.
Cut the bread into thin slices and toast them.
Place small amounts of the sautéed mushrooms with the sobrasada on the slices of bread and sprinkle with parsley and salt. You can accompany this appetizer with a succulent Mahon cheese.

3. Sobrasada croquettes (6 people)
Could there be a more perfect combination?

Ingredients:

  • 45 g flour
  • 600 ml milk
  • 30 g butter
  • 100 g sobrassada
  • 2 eggs
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation:

Put a small amount of butter in a frying pan and make a roux with the flour.

When it is toasted, slowly add the milk so that it dissolves until a smooth béchamel sauce is created.
When it is halfway through, add the sobrassada, cut into pinches. Once added, continue with the other half and stir until everything is well mixed.
Season with salt and pepper. When finished, leave to cool in a flat dish.
Take the resulting dough and make the balls of croquettes to taste. Then coat them in beaten egg and breadcrumbs.

Fry in very hot olive oil, soak up the excess and leave to rest.
Serve on a plate.
